Welch Psychiatric Group PLLC is currently a self-pay practice. Appointment fees are listed below so you can understand the expected cost of care before scheduling. Commercial insurance participation will expand as credentialing is completed.
Telehealth throughout Colorado + Arizona. The practice is based in Castle Rock, Colorado, but you do not need to live near Castle Rock to receive care. You must be physically located in a state where your clinician is authorized to practice at the time of your appointment.

New patients begin with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. Appointment length is selected based on age, clinical complexity, record-review needs, and the amount of assessment time required.

Initial Psychiatric Evaluation
A comprehensive initial evaluation to understand your concerns, history, current symptoms, functioning, treatment goals, and appropriate next steps.

Complex Presentations · Ages 18+
Extended Initial Psychiatric Evaluation
An extended initial evaluation for adults whose history, presenting concerns, diagnostic complexity, or record-review needs may benefit from additional assessment time.
- Additional time for complex or overlapping symptom presentations
- Expanded review of prior diagnoses, treatment response, or outside records
- More time for diagnostic clarification and treatment planning
Established Patients
Medication Management Follow-Up
A focused follow-up for established patients to review symptoms, medication effectiveness, side effects, progress, concerns, and treatment adjustments.
- Medication response and side-effect review
- Symptom and functional progress check
- Treatment adjustments and next-step planning
Extended Follow-Up
Medication Management & Psychotherapy
An extended 50-minute appointment allowing additional time for medication management, psychotherapy when clinically appropriate, coping strategies, and individualized treatment planning.
- Extended medication-management time when clinically needed
- Supportive psychotherapy when appropriate to the treatment plan
- More time for coping strategies, education, and care planning
Appointment fees and availability may change. The fee displayed during secure online scheduling will reflect the current charge for the selected service.
Insurance
Coverage is expanding. Care is currently self-pay.
Commercial insurance credentialing is underway, but Welch Psychiatric Group, PLLC is not currently billing commercial insurance plans for services provided through this practice. This page will be updated as participation with individual plans becomes active.
Superbills are available upon request.
For eligible self-pay services, commercially insured patients may request a superbill to submit to their insurance plan for possible out-of-network reimbursement. A superbill is not an insurance claim and does not guarantee reimbursement. Patients are responsible for verifying out-of-network benefits and submitting documentation to their plan.
Future insurance participation does not guarantee that every service will be covered. Benefits, deductibles, copays, coinsurance, reimbursement, network status, and authorization requirements are determined by each patient’s individual plan.

Welch Psychiatric Group, PLLC is not currently billing Medicare for services provided through this practice. Medicare has specific rules governing when Medicare-covered services may be provided on a self-pay basis. If you are enrolled in Original Medicare or a Medicare Advantage plan, please contact the practice before booking so we can confirm whether we are able to accept you for the requested service and discuss any applicable billing requirements.
Please do not schedule a self-pay appointment until Medicare status has been reviewed with the practice.

Payment
A valid payment method may be required to schedule and maintain an appointment. Charges are processed according to the practice financial policy.
Cancellations & Missed Appointments

Patients who are uninsured or who choose not to use insurance may receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges as required by applicable law.
Superbills & Out-of-Network Reimbursement
Eligible self-pay patients with commercial insurance may request a superbill after services are rendered. Reimbursement is determined solely by the patient’s insurance plan and is not guaranteed.
Telehealth Location
The practice is based in Castle Rock, Colorado. Secure telehealth appointments are available throughout Colorado and Arizona, subject to clinician licensure and the patient’s physical location at the time of the appointment.
